One of the most popular places to store bicycles is a garage. However, garages are used for storing many other things so they quickly become cluttered. Not only does a neat and orderly garage make you feel good, but it also brings a sense of luxury – everything is in its place and easily reachable. As with everything on the shelves, your bicycles need storage. A vertical bicycle lift makes a great storage solution that allows all family members to store their bicycles as easily as possible. And yes, it is as simple to park out the bike as to park it in.

Often, balconies become storage for large items that don’t seem to fit anywhere else in the apartment. Bicycles included. However, the joy of having a balcony can be lost – no morning coffee with a beautiful view—unless PARKIS saves the day. The idea of PARKIS was born in response to this exact problem – how can a balcony that is also a “bicycle garage” be turned into a space that everyone in the family can enjoy? How can this be done so all bicycles still fit in the balcony? And not of the least importance – how to make bicycle storage easy enough so anyone in the family could park their bikes independently. Thankfully, PARKIS solves all of those problems.
Outdoors
PARKIS can offer a vertical bicycle storage solution for any small indoor space. How about outdoors? Good news: PARKIS makes a great outdoor vertical bicycle rack for your shed or any outdoor space with a roof. Our bike racks are made of sturdy materials – aluminium, steel or stainless steel (depending on the model). That enables using our bicycle lifts outdoors without worry. We have you covered if you need to lock your bicycle in your outdoor space. The Locking Gates or Locking Loop accessories enable you to lock your bicycle’s frame via any regular lock.
Which PARKIS model fits my bike best?
If your bike has no mudguards or the mudguards are short or medium in length, your bicycle will be perfectly compatible with vertical parking. However, some bikes have long mudguards, which could obstruct vertical parking on the floor. If your bike has long mudguards and you still want to use our lifts, please refer to the FAQ; we have some options for this case.
If your bicycle’s tyre width (A) is up to (and including) 61mm (2,4”), your bike fits all PARKIS models. If your bicycle’s tyre width is up to (and including) 77 mm (3.0”), then the CITY or the MTB model suits your bike.
If your bicycle’s tyre+rim height (B) is up to 78 mm (3.0”), then all models are suitable for your bike. If your bicycle’s tyre+rim height is up to 87 mm (3.4”), then the CITY or the MTB model suits your bike.
All PARKIS models suit bicycle wheels’ diameter (C) starting at 61 cm (24″) and more. However, if your bike’s wheel diameter is 51 cm (20″) (folding and children’s bikes) – the adapter D20 is needed (available for all models except the MTB).
